Well just got through with a pretty strong storm that had me pretty worried for a bit there. It dumped a whole crap load of rain on us here and Dad went to work in it. The street in front of my house got flooded pretty good for a while, and I went out to try to unclog what I thought was likely to be a blocked storm drain across the street from my house since that generally is the cause when the street floods, and the water was more than half way up my shins. The boots I put on before going out there were not the right type or tall enough so they are flooded with water and will take a long time to dry out, and I couldn't find the storm drain because of how much water there was out there I waded through. I called up city hall even though there was no one there and left a message with the street department about it and asked for someone to come out and please do something about it, and I checked on the street about 30 - 45 minutes later during the time the rain was letting up for a little bit and the flooding had gone down so the road was just a little wet and you could see the road itself along with a cleared storm drain. So I don't know if someone answered my call for help and cleaned the drain out, or if the drain had simply been overwhelmed by how much water there was... The way the street flooded had me really worried because the last time it flooded that much my basement got a foot of water in it as a result, and the water was over the curb! Thankfully this time the only water to get in the basement was from the basement windows leaking and there was not much stuff in the basement that was important since almost everything is still in the living room thanks to last year's flooded basement.

I'm going to soak my feet in some warm water and scrub them up good with soap since I didn't remove my wet socks until a little bit ago and they got wet around 6:42am and it's 8:49am right now. Not going to work today. Want to try to wriggle out of going to work tomorrow too since I could use a day off without a major storm running through the area and scaring the crap out of me.

I'm an only child to the best of my knowledge, but I might have half siblings from my mother (who I honestly have no memories of). I know I have issues sometimes, like occasional bouts of depression, but I don't have anyone to really talk to in real life about them. I apologize for the self-pity parties I have and when I whine about things, I just don't really have other ways of dealing with somethings. >_<

**It was around 3:00 in the morning, when Laura the smallest of the twins starts  crying. She cries so hard that it sounded that one of her tiny lungs might burst from the pressure..**

**Baraka's 6foot long blade protrudes from his upper arm, scratching the floor and creating sparks with the tip. This weapon alone is long enough to slice a fully grown man in half, and being retractible He can use it at deadly speeds..**
